I am flying into Anchorage tomorrow night. My friend is picking me up at the airport and we were going to head north. Can anyone give me some info on the wildfires between Anchorage and Fairbanks? Thanks all. (Brand new to this forum). Linda

Try this site for timely road info http://511.alaska.gov/ The fire that has been in the news is on the Kenai Penninsula, south of Anchorage. Theres another northwest of Fairbanks near Minto. Mike
