Hi, we're considering Tory Island in early October. Do you know if the water is generally more turbulent around that time than, say, in August? Thanks!!

Between October and February things can be choppy but take some sea sickness tablets and check the weather forecast and then decide weather to go!

If you are not prone to seasickness, a trip on the ferry in choppy water and weather could be great fun! Much more fun than a roller coaster ride! Just bring a change of clothes! If the weather gets really bad, the ferries are cancelled.
