Hello,
1.Visiting Istanbul and was wondering what is the exchange rate now for TL vs an American $ since my last visit was a few yrs back, is it advisable to change money upon arrival in airport or in the city? 2.Where can we shop for local budget turkish made shoes,clothes,makeup..etc. away from the touristic grand bazaar ,sultanahmet area? 3.Any weelky street markets around where villagers sell their stuff? 4.Is the a carrefour and where? 5.What is Iskander ? is it a local dish made from doner? 6.Where do we get on the public slow ferries that cross the bhosphorous and do they go to different locations ? where to ? when? the cost ? roundtrip or? hope someone can help out .
