How long from santiago to Puerto Montt by bus? Is a safe travel or the roads are dangerous?

Depends on the type of bus service you choose, but roughly 10-12 hours. It is very safe.

Cn you tell me how to know which bus I have to take in Santiago. I have to go to Puerto Montt in bus (no money!) but i an't see any information in the net... Thanks! Jordane blackshine@hotmail.fr

I took the bus from valparaiso to puerto varas and it seemed safe, roads were excellent.
