We will arrive in Paestum with our luggage by train.
Is there a possibility for deposit our luggage while we visit the site ? Alternatively we plan to stay overnight . What is the best possibility for a transfer from the Station to Hotel Villa Rita . Do you have a hotel recommendation better than Hotel Rita ( 76 Euro B&B for a double room )? |

I have not been to Paestum, but the Trenitalia website (the national railroad of Italy) does not show any Left Luggage services at the Paestum train station. While this site is occasionally out of date, it would be a good idea to think about Plan B for your lugagge...unfortunately, I don't have recommendations on hotels...

I really liked Hotel Villa Rita - the owner was a sweetheart and it was right next to a farm that sold fresh buffalo mozzarella. I don't know how old/fit you are, but I easily walked from the train station to Hotel Villa Rita with one rolling suitcase (and high-heeled shoes!). If you do book the hotel, ask them about luggage transfers. It would be a really cheap cab ride (if there are cabs in the area) or they might have an alternate suggestion.

Dear visitors , thanks for your advice, we booked Villa Rita now and there is no left luggage at the station , so we walk or try to get a cab.
