| Norway | Driving road 9, to Lysefjord from north-east direction Posted: Thu June 21, 2007 01:18 PM UTC
I would like an opinion of the following route, for landscape, interest, accommodation, fuel stations:
Bergen - Odda (this part we did before) road 143 to Haukeligrend, road 9 south, around Brokke/Hovden west on a road without number on my maps to Lysebotn through Sirdal/Adneram. Each map misses some of the place names. I checked the distances on the viamichelin. From Lysebotn planning to take a ferry to the roads going back to Bergen Which were my original plan. My husband wants to drive down the Lysebotn hairpins, because this time we won't get to Trollstigen, Geiranger Eagles and Dalsibba. I saw on the pictures that there's a railing at the side, and that the road is about the width of a bus. Is there much more traffic in one of the directions? |
