YOU CAN TRY NORTHWEST OR US AIRWAYS, DEPENDING ON THE DATES YOU WOULD LIKE TO TRAVEL.

Check Air Canada's website, or you might check with a travel agent in the UK, who can compare the prices of all airlines. This is probably the easist for you to do. El Al offers a fare of around $421.00, NWA around $488.00 and then over $500.00 with other airlines plus depending on seat availability, and if you don't use Air Canada's non stops, you will be going via a city in the US and then to LA. NWA via Detroit or Minneapolis, US Air via Philadelphia, Delta, via Cincinatti or Atlanta. August is an expensive time to fly as it is right in the middle of summer. The sooner you book the better off you will be. One other suggestion, if you can take a bus to Buffalo or Detroit, you might be able to get an airfare from $180.00 to just over $200.00. I really would see a travel agent.

you could take greyhound to Buffalo... then catch a cab to Buffalo Airport, flights are at least a third cheaper across the border since it'd be a domestic flight. You could consider Southwest, Jetblue and all the other no-frills airlines they have down there.
