Traveling to Merano on September 6 with wife. Would like to stay in Schenna. Is Schenna close enough to allow me to drive into Merano easily? Where do I park as I enter merano? suggestions for dining in merano and staying in Schenna!

I haven't been to either place, but www.viamichelin.com shows that these two places are only 5 kilometers apart or 9 minutes of driving by their estimate.
Note that "Merano" is the Italian spelling ("Meran" in German), but that "Schenna" is the German spelling ("Scena" in Italian)...some websites might not list the names in both languages, so it's good to know both names... Bill
