Hello everyone,
we are 2 students planning to come to Croatia and we've chosen the Istria peninsiula for our journey. Rovinj seems to be one of the most nice places but I have problems searching for cheep accomodation there - the only offers I see are hotels, etc, and we'd like to spend €20 per night per person or less if possible - actually, the place we live in just needs to be clean, have a bed and a shower, nothing more :)

if anyone knows any hostels, or cheap hotels, or offers of private accomodation in Rovinj - please help!!!

There is a hostel in Rijeka on the eastern part of the city and near the sea. Try to google private accomodation, if you are not coming in August, maybe you could find something under 20/EUR person, I am sure you could.

Ehmm... unfortunately i can't find any city maps.. where is Giulia Giorgeria situated? which part of the city?
I saw fotos a bit to the north from Rovinj, the beaches are magnificent :)

Sorry, I made a mistake . Rijeka is in the eastern part of Istria peninsula. Keep on googling Rovinj you must find some maps. Anyway,Rovinj is not New York, you will not get lost.
