I want to take my girlfriend out for a romantic evening somtime in maastricht any sugestions??

A stroll along the river, a romantic dinner with a view over the river or in a hidden downtown restaurant.

And for the night select a small hotel downtown.

An abundance of excellent restaurants in Maastricht.
Be sure to make reservations though because the locals tend to go out quite a lot themselves (all ages!).
Have drinks on Onze Lieve Vrouwenplein and choose any nice restaurant in that area. For Toine Hermsen you need to reserve WELL in advance (it's expensive but a great experience).

For hotel I could recommend Hotel Beaumont or hotel Bergere, both in Stationsstraat.
I've stayed in both. Hotel Beaumont als has an excellent Alsace restaurant.

It's about 20 minutes walk (depending on the windowshopping and enjoying view of the bridge over the river).

locals of Maastricht find "Au Coin des Bons Enfants" the romantic restaurant to bring a lady. for hotels, the hotel Botticelli is very romantic. its a small hotel in italian style.

another idea is to have a candle light cruise with your girlfriend. for info on that visit the tourist information. (grote staat 1)
