I am planning a wedding for June 2008. I am looking for affordable housing for my family and friends, does anyone have any ideas.

Here is an interactive map of Bermuda. In the control panel on the right, click on "hotels" and it will list various categories of accommodations. Click on the different categories and they will be shown on the map. Click on each one and a box will pop up with information on the property. If the property has a website, there will be a place to "click here for more information".

I haven't been to Bermuda, but am going in August, so I have done a lot of virtual exploring.

Have you decided where the ceremony will take place?
That might make the decision easier as you will want to be close to that area.
Many hotels will help with the marriage ceremony.
Affordable, if you mean cheap, that is hard to find on Bermuda.
I assume you will want a hotel complex large enough for all guests to stay in the same place, so that gets you to a smaller list.

Here are a couple of other sites to check for accomadations
http://www.bermudatourism.com/index.aspx is the government site click on accomadations at the top
http://www.bermudarentals.com/default.asp has many listings, all sizes as well as info on weddings.
http://www.grottobay.com/index.html is the site for Grotto Bay Hotel where we have stayed. It has lower rates than many of the larger hotels. I do not see anything on their website about weddings however there are phone numbers to call and enquire what they offer.

My wife and I got married at the Grotto Bay Beach Resort. It was on October 27, 2006 on the honeymoon beach. We spoke to Donna Lindo at Grotto Bay and she was very helpful in arranging everything including minister, music, cake, pan player and flowers. Everything went wonderful. In fact we will be returning to the Grotto Bay Hotel this October for our anniversary. Hope this helps. Dave from Ont.
