Malta Travel Forum

Hi, I'm going to Malta (this Saturday)for 1 week . I've understood (see last year posts)sometimes ther're a lot of jellyfish depending on the wind and waves direction. How is the situation now ? Are there usually in some particular areas or everywhere ? (I've two childrens).

I've not seen any jelly fish around at the moment. They are pretty easy to spot and when you do start seeing them you can just head for another bay. But at moment fingers crossed you should be ok if you are coming this week.

I have to be honest I couldn't see the Jelly Fish most of the time but they do seem to move in packs so just watch the Maltese people & when they all get out of the sea do the same! Everyone in Malta is really friendly & they will show you what to look out for if you ask.

Thanks Harmony and Maity. I came back yesterday from Malta. Jelly fish have started to come out since thursday but just in the south south/est (ST. Thomas Bay, Blue Grotto ...). I didn't find in Gozo Comino, Golden/Ghajn/Gnejna bay...
