Willl be taking train from Venice to Peschiera del Garda. Any ideas of how to get from there to Sirmione? Will have 2 kids ages 9 and 11 with me. I hear there is a catamaran, but how often does it go? Any buses? Taxis?

There is a bus every hour from Peschiera del Garda train station to Sirmione. Will try and find the link for the timetable in English as soon as I can. The site I use needs some knowlege and navigation in Italian.

Intend to spend a mad day in Gardaland and then cool down and relax in Sirmione for the evening!

bus or catamaran run to Sirmione you should have no trouble linking up. The bus runs from the train station. You will love Sirmione . We have just returned from there- Enjoy
