We had a wonderful holiday in Kyrenia a few years ago (you might like to have a look at my Cyprus/Kyrenia Pages).

We were self catering but passed the British Hotel every day. It has a great location and was one of the only two hotels there close to the harbour that we would have considered staying in. I understand that it has been recently refurbished and think it will be a very good base for your holiday. I hope you have a very good time - and envy you.
