Hi....Myers is probably the best. It is a large department store with a couple of stores in the suburbs and its main store in Melbourne. There are also branches in a few country centres.

Or try David Jones - they do a lot of Wedding gifts. There are online stores like Peter of Kensingtons in Sydney. Do they not have a gift list somewhere?

Another large retail outlet is Harvey Norman. Not quite as upmarket as Myer or David Jones but they stock lots of furniture and electrical goods, from computers to air conditioners.
Here are a few more names, worth a search with google:- Dick Smith Electrical, Fantastic Furniture, K-Mart (mock not, they have some good stuff at reasonable prices), Bunnings. I could go on but you should have enough choice there :-)

Hi Maggie
You can order gift vouchers on line from the Ikea store in Perth Western Australia (they are the only Ikea store in Australia that has a home shopping service) and they will send it registered post to your relations in Geelong. It can be used at the Ikea store in Richmond (a suburb of Melbourne).
