Contact the Shire of Rockingham or Department of Infrastructure if you are wanting to kayak in this area.
If you are wanting to kayak in other areas contact Sea Kayak lub of WA on 9339 2952.

I live in Rockingham and the only islands I know of are Seal, Penguin and Garden islands.
I believe Seal island is a sanctuary of the seals and does not permit landing at any time of year. Penguin Island is closed to visitors in winter to protect the Fairy penguins during their breeding season. Garden Island is a naval base and does not permit visitors except on special open days. Rottnest Island is a little further north, but further out and I'm not sure if too far to go by kayak(20k, 14 nautical miles and the sea can be rough), I've just done a quick goggle and there were adverts for tours kayaking AROUND Rottnest, but none going to it. Didn't find anything else that might be of interest to you. You could still kayak AROUND Seal and Penguin Islands, but not land on them. You could travel down the coast to Mandurah or up towards Fremantle and Perth. Lesley
