I am trying to find the location of a statue of four horses which I was photographed with in the sixties. (I was about six years old at the time). I was staying in Austrian Tyrol at the time and on a day trip to Italy and the name Merano is in my head. A long shot, but someone may be able to help.

G'Day Kiteman, Suggest you upload the photo to your home page. Some one may recognise the setting. One answer did cross my mind that it could have something to do with the Battle of Marengo won by Napoleon in 1800 but the site may be too far for a day trip from Austria?.
