We are taking our horse loving granddaughter (11 years old) to Kentucky for a few days in July. We plan to spend a good bit of time at the Kentucky Horse Park. We want to get her at least a couple of chances to ride (she is pretty good at it) and just want to know if you have suggestions beyond the Park.

Google Lexington Riding Stables and you will get a list of local places. I'd also check with the Chamber of Commerce and the horse park.
Enjoy! David

Check on the Breyer's model horse web site. In July they have the big BreyerFest celebration that your granddaughter might really enjoy.
There are riding stables around. Tourist info has pamphlets on them. Consider visiting some of the throughbred breeding farms and make a visit to Keeneland Race Track to watch the early morning workouts. TJ
