We will be in Agrigento for one night, Sept 29, '07. Any suggestions on good hotels, like good service, good bed, good breakfast, good staff, good location (near everything) and good room rates? Thanks for any comments.

I stayed in a crap (but central) hotel when I was there (see my Agrigento tip) so if I came again, I'd pick this one which I passed by and which is in the main street in the centre:
http://www.bed-and-breakfast-in-italy.com/pagina.c It is nice to stay the night in Agrigento itself rather than the Temple Valley with its tour buses and mafia run hotels without proper building permissions. Most tourists leave the town itself at night so it feels very Sicilian. Especially along a specific road where you have some bars overlooking the temples way down in the valley and people gathering for a drink in the evening :)
