Last minute thoughts -- any great ice cream shops, resteraunts, bars, show, clubs, museums, etc. that we need to consider. How is the weather predicted to be, etc.

As for ice cream in the Old Town: Try "Pia" - that's where everybody gets their icecream. It's near Heinrich-Heine-Allee tram stop. In case you want to experience even better icecream you need to leave the city centre and go to "Unbehaun" around Aachener Straße.
The best beer in the old town: Uerige (only after the third beer its delicious!) and Schlüssel. It's supposed to be very hot with showers and/or thunderstorms. Enjoy! Sabs
