South Lake Tahoe Honeymooning in Tahoe

We will be there Oct17-25.From Wednesday through Sunday we're planning to get a cabin on the west or north shore then spend time in SLT.Any suggestions for a unique but reasonable lodge for newlyweds?
Also will be able to do some hikes that late in the season?

Perhaps you should try www.gotahoenorth.com/lodging for a place to stay. There are all kinds of places in all kinds of price ranges so try that website or maybe a major realty like Coldwell Banker Incline Village or Tanager Realty which handle rentals. The Tahoe area has recorded snow in every month of the year. I would bet that during your stay you will most likely be able to hike but you never know! Its a great place to have a romantic cabin and enjoy the Lake and casino's
