Are there pet-friendly beaches and accommodations that one would recommend for a weekend getaway? Looking online but having a hard time getting information. Thanks!

One of your best bets may be to go to vrbo.com. They show vacation/beach rentals for pet and non pet vacationers. The pet friendly accomodations will have a paw print icon. The website is great because it covers all of the U.S. We have been going to Kiawah/Charleston area for the last 7 years and will be getting a puppy this summer, so we are in the "same boat" regarding having to search out pet friendly accomodations. Pets deserve a vacation too. Good luck on your search.
