Forum Question Posted By: Replies:
Armenia Border crossing to/from Azerbaijan and Armenia
Posted: Wed June 6, 2007 03:28 PM UTC
Hi there,
I'm trying to find out how easy it is (or whether it's possible) to cross from Azerbaijan to/from Armenia. Is it at all possible to cross from Armenia into Nakhchivan? Am planning a trip in the Caucasus in August and am trying to work out a feasible route! If anyone can help me by answering my query (and if possible suggesting border crossings/locations) that'd be very helpful!
Thanks,
Si

Hello,

It is currently not possible to cross from Azerbaijan to Aremnia or vice-versa. The only routes possible are either via Georgia, or via Iran.

Hi,
It is impossible to enter Armenia from Azerbaijan or Nakhijevan. You can visit first Azerbayjan, then Georgia, then enter from Georgia to Armenia. If you need to arrange your trip in Armenia, I can help you to organize it.
