Gozo Travel Forum

Has anyone stayed here in Gozo or knwo what it's like? I have booked it for a week but can't find any reviews at all anywhere on the web. Hoping it's okay.

Gozo is beautiful but very quiet - I've always stopped on Malta myself. Food is great & the people are lovely. Maltese people take trips to Gozo to relax. If you get bored you can always hop on the ferry to Malta or book a trip.

I've stayed there a few times. I do really enjoy it for the slightly quieter getaway. It's easy to get around in a car and there is less traffic than Malta.

Nice quaint restaurants, but there isn't really much in the way of shopping which is a good thing. Things to do: visit Azure window, citadella, Ramla Bay, Windmill, Caves, Salt Pans and Marsalforn.

It's one of those places where you feel that every day can be a lazy day.

I stayed in Xlendi (Gozo) a few weeks ago, staying at the St. Patricks hotel which was very good. Gozo is small, quite rural and the roads are probably worse than Malta's!
