| Cuzco | Accommodation in Cuzco in September. Posted: Tue June 5, 2007 11:18 PM UTC
Hi guys,
Has anyone stayed in Terra Andina Hotel (they are always top when I search hotelsides)? If not does anybody recommend a good hotelin Cuzco for a price of approx. 100 USD a night? Is Cusco crowded in early September or should I be able to arrive without booking in advance and find a good hotel with a nice location on the spot? Thanks, Bearzy |

We stayed in the Hotel Jose San Antonio in Cuzco. I have no idea what the rates were as we were in a tour group, but the hotel was very nice and the services were excellent. We were there last September and the town was busy but not crowded.

Yikes. $100 US is like a hotel for $1000 for a room here! Our hostels were $10 per person per night. Hotels that I saw were never more than $30 per person per night. Some hostels looked as good as hotels. Seem to have more character as well, (Peruvian women that really appreciate your business and are sincerely friendly as a result) but perhaps you are looking for a more "American" hotel. You can always book 1 night and shop around that first day.
