We've always used MV Bryan, so far so good. Has tendency to overload during peak season, but from my observation the boat drivers seemed to know their job well enough. We tried coming in to Galera through the first trip, around 5:30 in the morning. The trip had been peaceful... sea was very calm throughout the journey. The Batangas Channel is very wild (high waves and currents) after 10 am.

From Batangas port to White Beach you have no other choice, but MV Brian, that is a traditional type banca, but big enough. If you want a closed type modern air-con boat, you have to sail from Batangas port to Poblacion (Muelle Bay) and then take a jeepney or tricycle for a 6km ride to White Beach.

MV Natividad is the biggest among all of them direct to the white beach, still many banca going there. but if i were you take the roro that is much safest and biggest but not direct to the white beach they will drop you in muelle pier.

Re: best outrigger boat to white beach Posted: Wed June 6, 2007 08:56 AM UTC
you can take supercat instead. fare is less than 300 and travel time from batangas pier to muelle pier is less than 1 hour (45 mins i think).
muelle pier to white beach is about 20 mins approx.

You will find a lot of info in the site:

Anyway, don't be confused, things are very simple. The only thing you have to be careful is to arrive at Batangas port early enough, the earlier the better. Don't make your schedule for the last boat. If you can be there before 14.00 or 15.00 it is OK. On my opinion, take the banca to White Beach, you will not have any problem.
