| Fuengirola | train station Posted: Mon June 4, 2007 07:01 PM UTC
Hi
Could you tell me what the nearest station is to the Vermar Aparthotel? Also, could you tell me how far away it is? Thanks Angie |

The nearest train station is the end of the line of the Malaga-Fuengirola train which runs every half-hour between the two.
If you're staying at the Apartamentos Hotel Veramar on Calle Malaga, you can leave the station, walk two short blocks towards the sea to the main drag of Fuengirola. Turn right, and it's a healthy walk of about a dozen blocks (although some blocks are very short, a couple are long). You're looking for Calle Malaga, where you'll turn right and up a block or so the hotel. If you're just arriving with luggage, the best bet is to grab a cab from a stand outside the train station. Shouldn't cost much. While you're staying there, you can always take the 10-15 minute stroll back the train station and do some window shopping. Or stop at a bar for a refreshment. If you'd like a map showing the location of the station and the hotel, let me know. Have a good trip.
