when I went to duesseldorf As Car Buyer I stayed copule weeks the shipping company middle man adviced me to rented furntued Apt was alot cheeper than the hotel and clean as well

Have a look for backpackers dusseldorf. It's a hostel I know but the guy Patrick who runs it has private rooms I think! Best to double check!
