why thanks Ann! you are a treasure :-)
Adelaide for a day is easy to fill...There is the city itself, and dont forget to include some of our beaches...Glenelg is awesome, and as its cold in July, there will be plenty of coffee places around as well! Our hills are gorgeous, especially in the winter, and Handorf is a great little town only 20 minutes from adelaide itself.
If you have a full day, take the groovy grape tour up to the famous Barossa Valley. I have many Adelaide tips if you want to check out my adelaide pages..
How come you are only here for the day?

What kind of things do you like doing? We have great wine regions (Barossa Valley or McLaren Vale), lovely beaches (Glenelg, Brighton, or head down south to Victor Harbor if it's whale watching season), free museums and art galleries, cafe strips (in Norwood, Rundle St East in the city, O'Connell st in North Adelaide), the Central Markets (lots of food stalls), bush walking, views, etc etc etc.

There are no 'set' sights you need to see in Adelaide, so it's up to you to decide what you enjoy doing, and you're likely to find it here!
