hello :)

i reach alicante mid afternoon and the only train i can find on the renfe site that goes through benicassim is a high speed train so i guess it wont be stopping there? does anyone know how to get to benicassim from alicante and could you post links to the sites please?

If you look closely you'll see that the ARCO and TALGO and Mare Nostrum run Alicante-Benicassim several times a day for around 27 euros one way.

Hi, You have different alternatives. One is taking the Euromed ( high speed train ) from Alicante to Castellon and then find some local transport bus or even local train, which is a very short ride of less than 10 km to Benicassim. Another alternative would be taking a ( slightly ) slower and cheaper train ( quite comfortable ) which would take you from Alicante till Benicassim as suggested by another VT friend. You could also stop by Valencia hire a car and drive down the coast to Benicassim which is aprox. 70 kilometers, whcih would also allow you the possibility to see Valencia. I think the more convenient way to go from Alicante to Benicàssim is to take an Euromed train up to Castellón and then take a Cercanías to Benicàssim. It's a 3 hour + 15 minutes trip and it's not too expensive. I case you can't find trains from Castelló to Benicàssim, look for a bus. There's probably some until late.
