Dear Haikou VT,
The owner of Hainan Youth Hostel informed me that there is no more bus service from Haikou East Bus Station to Sanya. Then where should i board a bus for land travel to Sanya? Please advise me. Thank you. Regards, Chyan SINGAPORE |

The coach service should still be operating from HEBS to SYBS, RMB80/person. SYBS to downtown, another RMB10 by taxi.
Try not to take the shuttle bus though cheaper but has more stops. There are also bus services offered by travel agencies for USD10/person. Prices may have changed. Do check again.

As far as I know, the bus service should still be in operation. Perhaps the hostel owner is trying to push their own travel services to you?

Hi
There are manys buses from Haikou to Sanya at the Haikou South Bus Station. The buses go every 20-30 minutes.
