| Delphi | Cruise chip Katakolon - how to get to beach Posted: Wed May 30, 2007 02:19 AM UTC
Not sure if I'm on the correct board. Apologies if needed.
Our ship is stopping in Katakolon. The big excursion is Olympia which we do not care to go to. I have heard that there is a beautiful beach Kourouta nearby. Does anybody know how to get there? Are there taxis at the port? Approx price to beach? Will we have trouble getting one back? Anything else suggested for a shore day at Katakolon? Many thanks! |

Kourouta is the beach opposite to Amaliada. My estimation: Katakolo-Kourouta is about 40km, north. About 45km to the south there is another famous beach, coastal pine-forest and spa, the name is Kayafas beach.
The nearest beach is only 3km from Katakolo, at Kallithea.
