Are there any rules or regulations, regarding the use of an inflatable boat and small out board motor on lake maggorie. Could I use it to visit villages and some of the islands, we want to reduce our global footprint by using the car as little as poosible.

I agree. The lake ferries are by far the best way to get around. When I was last there we bought a weekly pass. Very straightforward and easy way of getting about.
