| San Gimignano | anyone stay in monastery in town? Posted: Tue May 29, 2007 01:31 AM UTC
looking for anyone who has stayed in foresteria monastereo di san girolano - what was the experience like? Do you get a private room? Private bath? Would you recommend this? Found in some books but absolutely no user reviews.

I've been to the town of San Gimignano in Tuscany but I do not know the San Girolano you mention in your post.
It would be helpfull to know which one it is you are going to! Billy

I believe I have found your monastery!
It's in the neighbouring region of Le Marche and called San Girolamo as opposed to San Girolano. The website is www.sangirolamo.com Note that San Gimignano is a completely different place over 200 Kms away! Regards, Billy

I too am looking for this monastery in SG. It is listed in Lonely Planet but can't find it on the net. Has anyone found it yet?
