Lahore in July. Has anyone experience of the Mirage Hotel, Lake Road? If possible would like some information on its surroundings as I am likely to be there alone for a few days.

I don't know about Mirage hotel. But suggest you to stay at Avari Hotel or PC Hotel on Mall Road. Most of the foreigner stay here.
In Faisalabad, Foreigners stay at Serena Hotel Club road. Have a nice trip.
