Port Dickson The Legends Water Chalet
Posted: Thu May 24, 2007 05:46 PM UTC
I need some feedbacks from those people who know about The Legends Water Chalet. Is the premium water chalet big enough for 5 adults( though 4pax is the max but we intend to smuggle our maid into the room)? How do we get there from Singapore? Wat shall we do when we are at PD? We have two elderly folks and a toddler travelling with us. Heard tat we should have a BBQ but it is done by the hotel/restaurant staff or do we need to book a pit there and prepare some food to BBQ? Can suggest where can we go for fishing (possible to fish right out of our chalet?)? Last question, is Avilion Village Resort = The Legends Water Chalet? Thanking you in advance.

Hi!

Correct me if I'm wrong but if I'm not mistaken both Avillion & Legends are different all together...

How do I get there from Singapore. My family was thinking of chartering a mini bus or van to pick us from from singapore to Port Dickson. Kindly advise for the contact. If not, how to get there by public transport?

take a coach from spore to seremban then take a cab from the bus terminal to PD. Its much faster and cheaper. taxi fare shld not exceed rm$50. Legends is not Avillion

Legends and Avilion are 2 different water chalets. The former is north of PD town, latter is south (shd be obvious lah).
2 elderly + maid + couple (husband and wife) + child would be a bit of a squeeze. Suggest you take 2 standard chalets, one should be on the lower level as it wld be tiring to walk up to the 2nd level for the old folks.
There's no BBQ pit for rental there. Also, I think, Legends cater BBQ only to large private gatherings.
Fishing?? Legends has some area for fishing on the walkways further from the shore. Heard of people catching sting rays there. All I caught was a sotong :P
