would liechenstien be a good base for visiting neighbouring countries. also what is the big deal about getting passports stamped. also should i hae to book ahead for the campsites or do they not get full in the summer???

Liechtenstein and also Switzerland are really 20-30% more expensive than germany or Austria. Its good to visit and take a look, BUT shopping and dining should be done in D and A.
Nobody needs a stamp in the passport, but some people take it as a "rare" souvenir

Hi Denise,
the campground is probabyl not packed, so you dont need a reservation. The stamp is only something for out-of-europe stamp collectors, frequesnt travellers are happy not to get any extra stamps which only fill up pages in your passport.
