Szczecin Travel Forum

Hi,
In September I will be finishing a kayak trip started last year and ending in Trzebiez. I have to get back to Trzebiez from Szczecin; hopefully by bus. I understand the train no longer runs on the tracks I see on my map. I guess there is a bus station near the train station in Szczecin. Can I get a bus from there? Do you know how often it runs and what it's number is?

I don't read Polish but I gather there is a bus #107 that goes from Police to Trzebiez quite often. It wasn't clear how I get from the Szczecin bus station to Police. Did I misunderstand? Thanks again!

Szczecin railway-> tram no3 (Niebuszewo) 4 stops to Hotel Radisson (plac Rodła)-> bus 107 or F (Police- Kinga shopping mall)->local bus to Trzebiez

Wonderful! I think I got it. I couldn't make out what the Radisson Hotel was doing in there but now I see. To make things easier for myself I will probably get a taxi to the Radisson with my 40 pounds of gear and kayak. I really appreciate all your help.

Oh, Dude,
They will NEVER let you take your kayak on the bus!!!! You can't even take a bicycle on the bus in Poland.
Forget it!!!!
The best thing is to take a taxi all the way. Just ask taxi drivers at front of the station and try to bargain a good price for yourself. It really shouldn't be too much.
