we are canadians and are looking to get married at a resort in varadero. we would like to know if anyone has had a problem with marriage licenses or any other problems. or if someone has had a great experience and would like to share whats involved.

I was married in Cuba and had no problem. I advise you to check with your travel agent for the details on what papers you need to get married there as some need to be translated into Spanish and notarised before you travel. Also many resorts need sometime to get everything set up for you. Good Luck and My Best Wishes for you both.
