| Falls Creek | Falls Creek in the summer Posted: Tue August 19, 2003 10:09 PM UTC
Hi all
I've just been to the snow at Falls Creek in Victoria and had a great time... Now I'm wondering, has anyone been to Falls Creek during the summer months? I'm wondering what it is like there then? Is there much to see & do?? Thanks for any help... |

Hi again Sherie. We very often go to Bright,- Porepunkah actually - which isn't all that far from Fall's. There are many great tours from anywhere in the area all the year 'round. It is a great part of Victoria. It all involves driving medium distances but all well worth doing. Bright itself is absolutely great ! Beechworth is very historic and the countryside between there and Myrtleford , through the valley is a dream. Watch out for the animal life, though. Suggest going to < www.alpinelink.com.au > and follow the links from there. Enjoy Laurie.

Hi Laurie
Thanks for your answer. Yes I have spent a lot of time around Bright/Porepunkah (Buckland Valley mainly) too...but I have never been up to Falls Creek in the summer... I was thinking last weekend though that it must be gorgeous up there in those warmer months... :) Maybe one day I'll get up there then... :)
