Kyrgyzstan Travel Forum

Hi,
My girlfriend an I are hoping to fly from Delhi to Bishkek in early September. We've been unable to contact Kyrgyzstan Airlines in Delhi, and none of the travl agents we've contacted seem to deal with them (KA). Does anyone know how we might be able to contact KA and book with them? If we don't have any luck we will try to buy our tickets when we arrive in Delhi in mid-August; is it likely that tickets will be available for such flights so close to the departure date? We are in New Zealand now.
Anyone?

Hi,
From what I remember, those tickets need to be purchased in person- they don't do any internet or phone sales. Otherwise try contacting Kyrgyz Concept. http://eng.concept.kg/news/ They should be able to arrange tickets for you through Kyrgyzstan air or Uzbek Air.

Not sure if you are still looking for info, but I was looking for a similar flight myself and found that there is one travel agent (Minar travels, http://www.minartravels.net/kyrgyzstan-tours.html) that is a GSA for Kyrgyzstan airlines in delhi. Dont know if they will offer just air tickets, they do sell a tour.

I also found that http://www.stictravel.com/company/contact.asp handles pretty much all international airlines and could quote me a fare for Tashkent, Uzbekistan though its quite steep at around $500 for round trip. I havent tried them for Kyrgzstan yet.
