| Ormoc City | Overnight stay in Ormoc Posted: Fri May 18, 2007 07:58 PM UTC
I have traveled through Ormoc several times on my way to other provinces, but would like to spend several days there this Sept. can anyone suggest a medium priced hotel and/or pension house? The city seems so busy when I have gone thru there via the SuperCat and the people were so friendly. Thank for you help! Joseph

Joseph,
Suggest when you arrive you get a cheap room in Don Felipe hotel which is situated right at the supercat pier. Then, next morning you can look around if you find the hotel too expensive. There are pension houses, there is also the cheap Pongos Hotel a little walk from the pier. If you have no money worries there is the Sabin Resort about 10 out of town by tricycle. Both Don Felipe and Sabin have a website. In the cheaper places especially look after your belongings - Ormoc is no different to any other town and the poor sometimes take advantage. Good luck, henkvan.
