Hi everyone,

Does anyone know a good Hotel close to the San Jose Airport.
On my way home from Costa Rica I have an early flight in the morning. And after a month of backpacking I want a goodnight rest before my flight. So no budgethotel for the last night...
But also no Hilton :) just a place close to the airport where I can have a good night of sleep...

Orquideas Inn is about 15 minutes from the airport. Ask for one of the better rooms away from the road for a good night sleep. A fun place. There is a Hampton Inn if you just want a place to sleep. It is about 5 minutes from the airport and offers free shuttles. Pura Vida hotel.

I stayed at the Mango International just down the road.They'll pick you up and drop you off at the terminal.Small swimming pool and a bar-very cozy at a good price.rooms were quiet.There are a few restraunts and car rental places within walking distance.A friend recomended it to me when I was there and needed a place close to the airport my last day-Pura Vida

I recommend Coconut House in Alajuela, 10 minutes by taxi from the airport. Last year I payed about 20 $ for a single and when I stayed there with husband and 2 kids it was about 50 $, german style breakfast included. Nice owners from Germany with big dog called Goliath.

Try La Guaria Inn in Alajuela (#: (506) 440-2948). It was a $2 taxi ride from the airport, and $40 a night. Nice people, its very clean and safe, close to lots of food/markets/bars, and actually has a nice private pool.

Thanks for all your answers I looked to every Hotel... but at the end I chose a hostel in the centre that will pick me up from the Airport to.
I have to take an early bus in San Jose the next morning so I looked close to the busstations...

But nevertheless thanks for your reactions
