Could anyone tell me the cheapest way from calgary airport to city centre hostel in the 7th avenue,SE,calgary.
I would be having 2 trolley suitcase with me.travel on 20th May. appreciate quick response.

If you have two trolley suitcases, you are probably better off taking the cab. You could take the city transit, but it would be awkward with your luggage.

thanks for the replies.Read in the net that there will be a temprorary shut down of the C train transit on 20th May,is it true?
Do they allow to carry 2 piece of luggage,not very big in the transit buses?

There currently is talks of a transit strike, but it's up in the air when that will be. I don't think they will allow you 2 suitcases on a city bus or the C train.

I would suggest going to the Calgary Transit website, I think they have regular updates regarding the strike. You can easily google it. Good luck!!

It's better to take cab/taxi from airport to downtown, because it won't cost you much it would be around $30. (15-20 min)
