Nassau SANDALS ROYAL BAHAMIAN are they Kiteboarding Friendly ?
Posted: Wed May 16, 2007 09:18 PM UTC
I am visiting Nassau Bahamas Sandaks Royal Bahamian in Mid-July 2007 and was wondering if anyone knew if they allow you to ride on their property?

Are there riding spots near the Sandal's property?
Their Island just off the coast looks like a real Sweet spot.

I am a PASA Level I Instructor and a PASA Level 3 Rider.

Any information, links, maps to riding spots or links to discussion boards would be much appreciated.

Thank You

oh my gosh! You are going to LOVE this resort!! I went there about three years ago for 7 nights. I am not sure about the kiteboarding though. I don't recall seeing anyone doing this.

The private island that they have is absolutely beautiful! It's well worth all the money you are spending on this resort!

Not sure about the Kite Boarding but I would switch resorts if I were you. The Off Shore Island is pretty cool but Sandals only owns a small part of it, and if you were to land anywhere other then on their property you'd probably get hit with a trespassing ticket. My Wife and I were just there for our Honeymoon back in May 2007, and they were really strict about not walking on anyone elses property! It kind of has the same feel at the main resort. Do whatever you want, but stay on property! Also I highly recommend looking under the bed and under furniture before you stay in one of their rooms! As we were packing to leave my wife looked under the bed and found a half empty pack of Marlboro's, various other wrappers and just basic grunge!
