Hi can anyone help,

am going to champions league final but staying i corfu, is there a ferry from corfu to athens I can catch???

if there is which port will it be from and to??

and do you think they will be full or will i still be able to get a ferry ticket??

Hi,

There is no ferry connecting Corfu island to Athens. You have to cross the channel and take the bus from Igoumenitsa to Athens, via Ioannina (but i am not sure about the last one, Tel 26510- 26286). Otherwise, (but i think that it is more expensive) you can catch the ferry that comes from Italy to Patra and there to take a bus (Tel:2610 623886, their site doesn't work) or a train (www.ose.gr) to Athens.

You are absolutely right. There is also the KTEL Kerkyras, which i forgot to mention, sorry for that, (Official bus service) departing each day to Athens at 08.45 - 13.15 - 19.30 and return at 07.00 - 10.00 - 20.30.
