Hi, can someone tell me the best way to travel from trat to pattaya, not public transport. There are 3 of us, roughly how much will it cost.

Use the minibus from the travel agencies they are ok.
They travel from Bangkok - Pattaya - The Pier for Koh Samet & Pier for Koh Chang - Trat and Vice-verser. you proberly looking around 400bht maybe, it's been a couple of years since i did that route.

You shouldn't need to go into Trat town.
At the ferry pier from Koh chang you can catch a minibus to Pattaya. If you haven't booked a place you may have to wait a bit until some are available. You could take a taxi, the cost would be about 1000 to 1300 baht which is OK split 3 ways. I say this many times but it is worth considering chartering a minibus and driver if you are in a group. they start at about 2000 per day plus fuel.Forthis you could inquire at the ferry pier or maybe go into Trat.

BTW - the minibuses and coaches go directly to Pattaya
