BELGRADE -- Belgrade will expand its tourist offer by introducing City Card tourist passes by the end of the year.
The City Card Project has so far been implemented in more than 100 cities worldwide. “It includes easy on the pocket touring of museums, galleries, restaurants as well as the use of public transport services,” Tourist Organization of Belgrade director Olivera Lazović said. According to her, the price for the Belgrade City Card had not yet been set, adding that the cards would be available in three categories according to their validity period, spanning one, two, three, four or seven days. Lazović added that the introduction of the City Card would likely promote Belgrade as a tourist destination and attract more tourists. The Card will be supplemented with the brochure containing a list of all services and attractions available within the Belgrade City Card system. According to the TOB as many as 400,000 foreign tourists visited Belgrade in 2006. Source: B92
