where do US and/or Canadian citizens obtain a visa for entry in to Hargesia. Or for that matter, is a visa even necessary. Thank You.

From the US Department of State:
SOMALIA - *Passport required. For further information, contact the Consulate of the Somali Democratic Republic in New York (212/688-9410). The following link gives all Visa and documentation requirements for US citizens. Canadian citizens may have the same requirements depending on the country. http://travel.state.gov/travel/tips/brochures/broc

The Consulate of Somalia will be little help in providing information about access to the self-proclaimed Republic of Somaliland.
