how do you get to keppel island??? boat or plane??? or can you get there by both??

To get to Great Keppel you take a plane to Rockhampton (or bus or anything else) but a bus meets each plane and takes you to the ferry terminal at Yeppoon which is about an hour away. Then there is a ferry from Yeppoon to the island.

We went by train to Rocky, then got the bus to Yapoon.
That was a long time ago.....on our honeymoon :o) Such good memories....we had the honemoon caravan on Great Keppel. I ended up cooking for everone we invited to our caravan...and one night we even got the possums pissed on bread soaked in wine...poor things...
